I purchased this Ranchero in 1999, and it has been a long hard road to get to where I am today with it. But, I would have to say it has been challenging and very exciting! Not to say it didn't have its share of trials and tribulations. Overall, I have learned alot and can consider this restoration one of the biggest accomplishments I have made in my life. I have become very knowledgible of the Ford Falcon in general. We now own 5 Falcons: 1965 Pro/Street Ranchero, 1965 Convertible, 1964 Deluxe Ranchero, 1962 bubble top 2dr, 1966 4dr Futura Station Wagon. Some of the Modifications I have experience in now are: Granada disc brake swap, Export bracing, T5 Transmission swap, Mustang II Independent Front Suspension, Back Halfing or Tubbing. Plus, alot of miscellaneous mechanics learned along the way. In closing I would like to add it has been very rewarding and recommend everyone to restore a Ford Falcon.
